'Freedom' from the open weave range of hollow forms, in Sycamore with an Accacia burr base and cap, topped with a 4 start ebony finial set in an elm burr stopper. This piece could be displayed with or without the stopper. Measures 19" tall by 7.1/2" diameter.

'Black Meteor'
From my 2000 freehand open weave global range, The globe has an Ebonised laminated effect in Sycamore sphere, on an Ebony base and holder. The stem is an Ebony and Holly laminate with a tapered inverted triple twist, to produce the black and white spiral effect. Measuring 15" tall by 7" in diameter.

Thuya Burr Vase
with ebony base and rim, the rim is on a slope with a graduated lace edgetwist. (Thuya series, No.1 Crown Prince). Finished August 2001. Height 14.1/2" and 9.1/2" wide.

Yew Form
turned then carved, the first to be finished in a new series (Driftwood series, No.1 Nautilus) Started December 2000 and allowed to dry and mature, with a random 5 start tentacle twist. Finished August 2001. Height 22" and 10" wide.
